Cant play .AVI

Hey guys hope u can tell me whats wrong.. i downloaded a big .avi file and windows media wont play saying sumthing about codecs...help!
 
try doing a google search for a codec pack. just make sure you virus scan in if you get it from somewhere more shady lookin. Lots of folks make codec packs that are pretty useful. I've used the nimo codec pack in the past.
