I built my computer 3 years ago. I have another year (maybe 2) of college left and I don't want to have to go spend a bunch of money on a new one. Although, even if I had the money, now really isn't the time to build one. Anyways, I want to upgrade my video card. I have been debating this for the past 5 months. At first I was thinking of going for a FX5600. I figured that would be about the best card I could get that my system wouldn't "hold back". But then I didn't really want to spend 130 bucks. I thought of going for an older generation card, but the GeForce4's are still around 100 bucks. Now I'm looking at cards in the 50 dollar range. I found FX5200 cards and Radeon 9200's. I have read a lot of bad reviews and dissappoint opnions about the FX5200, so I am kind of hesitant in buying one. I haven't read too much about the 9200 that makes it any better than the FX5200.
Basically, for 50 dollars, would it be worth it to get either the FX5200 or the Radeon 9200?
Currently I have a GeForce2 GTS. And yes I am a gamer. (Vice City, UT2003, Quake III, JK Outcast, NFS series, etc...)
Thanks
