Can't Make Partition Properly.....

I'm assuming that the 250 GB Disk 0 is the SATA drive. It's been made a Dynamic Disk.

Microsoft: Basic Storage Versus Dynamic Storage

"A Basic Disk has basic volumes, such as primary partitions, extended partitions, and logical drives.

Dynamic Disks contain dynamic volumes such as simple volumes, spanned volumes, mirrored volumes."

Unless you have a good reason to use a Dynamic Disk, I suggest you delete the volumes and make it into a Basic Disk.

Yeah - your problem is that you are into the never never land of dynamic disks. They do not behave like regular HDDs.

Yea,you are wright.

I have tho HDDs

1. 80GB PATA(old)
2. 250GB SATA(new)

I want to make them both(pata & sata hdd) as Basic Disk(primary partitions, extended partitions, and logical) but I can't make basic partition(new 250gb sata) on Windows mode(windows xp sp2).

Please help me to make partition !
Tell me easy way to make partition.
Forget about what I have before.
Suppose currently I have two HDDs(80GB PATA & 250GB SATA).
And I'm going to make partition.

Thank you.....
