Can't log into router

Why can't i log into my Linksys BEFSR41 router? I type the IP in IE and nothing happens. How do i fix it?

How do you exactly log-in? Do you put www. when you put in the IP?

I have the Linksys BEFSR11 which is the same as yours except it's a One port as I have a 5 port switch. Mine has done that a couple of times and all I had to do was reset the router. Then it went in. One time I had to reboot Win XP. It's done it maybe 3 times where I put in the IP of the Router and it would not bring up the login screen. Try resetting it and see if that works. The first time it did that I just pulled the power plug out of the back and plugged it back in and it then worked. Only seems to happen every once in a while.

if you are entering in the ip correctly ("http://192.168.1.1") and nothing happens try power cycling the router: unplug the power for a minute, plug it back in, wait a minute and then try again.
