i bought a new abit nf7-s2g mobo from fry's and it won't read my hd it seems. it detects it fine though. what happens is when i am starting my comp up, it'll freeze at "verifying dmi pool data..." and the hd led will stay on. i know the hd is not bad because it works with another comp. any suggestions?

In BIOS, make sure that you have set the BOOT DEVICES correctly.
Make sure that when you swapped your hdd from one system to another, that you also changed the jumper settings accordingly.

Just in case:
Boot HDD should be on Primary IDE channel and set as MASTER -
Try and avoid using Cable Select at the moment.

it now tries to load windows, but half way it gives a blue screen and reboots. i've been told that i have to format because i changed mobos.
