I usually read quite a bit from anandtech forums to get a good grasp on something before I try it.
However, I've had a Thoroughbred B 1700+, and 2 Mobile XPs (45 watt Mobile 2600+ and 35 watt Mobile
2200+) and I haven't been able to get any of them up to 200 Mhz on the FSB. I upped the voltage to 1.65V, but I didn't really think that was necessary to get a 2 Ghz even overclock (10 x 200) and it didn't work anyway. The only other thing I can think of is my memory which is supposedly rated PC3200 (Corsair Value Ram). I've checked other posts and seen suggestions such as increasing the VDimm or further increasing the CPU voltage. Any other suggestions?
Abit NF7-S 2.0
1 Gig Corsair Value Ram (512 x 2 running as spd settings)
35 watt Mobile XP 2200+ (right now at 166x12 at 1.45V)
Radeon 9600 Pro is not overclocked
Leadman Powmax 500 watt PS (not a crappy Powmax, an earlier and seemingly better one)
