Can't hear audio from headphones. XFi-Elite Pro.

I had the PC upstairs plugged into speakers and it worked. I took the PC downstairs and plugged in headphones and they don't work. I do not hear any audio. I can see under control panel > sounds > the "Speakers" volume bar going up and down to indicate that there is sound but I do not hear it within the headphones.

I redownloaded the drivers and restarted the PC - yet I still don't hear anything. I swapped headphones to another pair of headphones and still cannot hear anything.

Thoughts?

Have you tried the speakers again? Also, are you sure you didn't accidentally connect the phones to the jack sockets of the integrated audio?
