Hi there. I have set up a VPN using Windows Vista. I am trying to connect to it but am having troubles.
From within the same LAN, if I connect to the VPN via the computers IP address (192.168.1.5), i can connect fine, but if i try my routers address, it doesnt work.
It goes to the part where it is verifying username and password and then throws an error suggesting that vpn passthrough and stuff isnt properly setup in the router.
but.. i believe my router settings to be right.
Under VPN Passthrough in my Cisco WAG200G, PPTP PassThrough is ENABLEd.
In port forwarding, I have port 1723 (TCP) redirecting to 192.168.1.5.
Any ideas why?
Im at a different location trying this as we speak and its not working.
MAny thanks
