Cant get simple peer to peer network functioning

It's a cheap dynex 10mbps hub. I only have 2 computers that need to be hooked up. One computer will recognize that it's on a network, but only shows itself, and not the other comp.
The other comp won't even show itself in My Network Places, but if I run a search for it, it shows upi in the search.

I have all the settings automatic, with no NETbios or IPX protocols and support. Only tcp/ip and the QOS packet scheduler.

Do you guys need more info to solve? Please say so if you do 😉

Check if your firewall is allowing the connections.
