Can't get right color with Acer Predator Z35

I recently got Z35 and the colors seem off. I even tried doing color calibration with a hardware/software solution. There were no improvements and it looks like the display is perpetually lacking contrast/vibrance. In contrast, my LG34UC88 appears to have a much better picture.
Are there any settings that I may have overlooked? I played with brightness, contrast, digital vibrance, Hue,
Gamma and tried individual color channels. I was using the Nvidia panel to tweak those.

So you've used the physical controls on the bottom of the screen too, or just the control panel? I'd start there and try each of the color temperature presets to see if there's one that stands out. Are you using HDMI?

I tried both physical buttons, Nvidia software. I was using Display port. At the end I returned it and went back to LGU88.
