Can't get rid of "Links" folder in IE Favorites

I keep on trying to delete the links folder in my favorites in internet explorer. but everytime i restart IE it just keeps on coming back. anyone know howto permanently erase this thing?

Summary of above:
1. Open regedit
2. goto [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]
3. Double click on LinksFolderName
4. Change the value to a blank string

After you delete the folder again it shouldn't reappear.
