My brother bought Visual Studio .NET for a programming class he's taking. When he installed it on his computer (XP Pro) he is no longer able to get on the internet.
This happened before when .NET framework was installed as an automatic update, and when I uninstalled the framework it started working fine again.
What does the .NET framework do that prevents any internet access??? Is there a way to fix it without uninstalling it? He needs all the .NET shxt for his class so I can't take it off.
The weird thing is I can still see his computer on the network and am able to send him files to his shared folder, but he can see nothing from his end
NEVERMIND, I just reformatted. Works ever time.
