I reinstalled windows, deleted the nvidia driver from app (still shows a driver in device manager.) How important for gaming (is kid's pc, mostly roblox, some light steam games etc) is that Geforce Game Ready Driver (oh, and I did get the latest to download but it wouldn't install, maybe is too modern for the old pc XPS8300.) Is a 1050ti card. I want to be done with it and give it to him but if that driver is important I will wait. I can't download even the Nvidia windows driver, Geforce experience (which I don't really want to do anyways.) What do you think, are the drivers in device manager good enough? I see the Nvidia control panel is installed.

im gonna take a guess and say its the HD Audio driver.

And this is the driver for your 1050

Windows 10:

Windows 7:

Just download them, and let them run automatically.

If you already tried these and you can't download them, please explain what happens when you try to run them.
