Im using a linksys 4 port cable router... 3 rigs... 2 xp and 1 2k....

The two xp rigs can see each other fine, but not the 2k.
The one 2k rig cant see either of the xp rigs...

They all are connected to the internet without any problems...

Any ideas on things to check on the 2k rig to make it work?

Check the ip address on the 2000 machine. It must be on the same subnet as the XP's. dakata24 may also be right they must all belong to the same workgroup.

All the computers are on subnet: 255.255.255.0

One difference i did notice while running ipconfig, was that on my laptop it says Node Type: Hybrid while on the desktop it says Node Type: Broadcast...

And they are both on the same workgroup as well...

Ok it works now... XP boxes had 'MSHOME' as their workgroup and the 2k box had 'MS HOME'
