For some reason my comp wont let me boot into windows anymore. When it gets passed the xp loading screen, it starts to load the login screen, but then just stops and freezes. I have tried just about everything in the book to get it to work. My last via board gave me problems, should of sticked with the nforce. BTW, I am running a k8v deluxe mobo, a64 3200, and sata 80gb hd

are you overclocking? this happened on my machine when I clocked it too high. Use a mobo/cpu monitor to see if your voltages and temps are in line.

Edit: Oh, and use some arctic silver if you have some. That should help.

Edit again: check for BIOS updates for your mobo. Those can help, too.

No overclocking here. It was weird because I got one error message that said overclock failed, even when I dont overclock lol. This mobo is kinda weird because when I was installing windows I saw a message show for a split second saying "you are not suppose to see this" LOL. This was from the amd package deal.
