Cant get into my router settings

Okay, everytime I want to go into my router settings its very easy: all i do is type 192.168.1.1. For some reason its not working anymore, i type it and i get "The page cannot be displayed" error. I have also tried other variations, such as 192.168.1.100 etc... I am using a linksys router, and I have only had this problem now. My interet is working perfectly, and everything seems completely normal. Anyone have any ideas?

By the way, I just want to enter my router settings so I can disable some ports so I can host WC3 servers.

You sure it's not 192.168.0.1? My Linksys used that as it's default subnet. Run "ipconfig /all" from the command line and make sure you are going to the IP address of your default gateway.

Whats your IP address? Sometimes DHCP might not function correctly on the router so you may be on a seperate network.

Second that... If you are going to the default gateway and it's not working, reboot or reset the router and see if that gets you anywhere.

Make sure that your iP is the same format.

if your default router ip is 192.168.1.1

then your ip shoud be 192.168.1.x

else it wont connect

In IE, or Control Panel, go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings and make sure Automatically Detect settings is tunred off..

had this happen to me awhile back, and unchecking it enabled me to get back into my router...
