well i can get into the bios sometimes but not very often, usauly when i hit del during startup i get a 3/4" horizonal blue line across the screen (yes bios blue). at that point i cant do anything except hit reset; i tryed esc,y, enter to see if it was even accessing the bios but got nothing. other than that its all working great, im posting from the machine right now.

i doubt the system specs will help but someones bound to ask so here goes:
t-bird 750@750 untell i can get into bios on a regular basis
kt7-raid (flashed to wt, this happened both before and after)
pc-100 cas3 syncmax that does 133 cas2 (crazy eh? got 2 mosel sticks comeing tomorow wich should do much more:))
v5
soundblaster live
kinston nic
2 30gb 75gpx's in raid-0
10gb quantum fireball backup on ata66
48x liteon cd
random flopy
fresh instal of windows me

like i say, all runs good but i only get the bios every now and again, the rest of the time it just a thin blue line were it should be and i have to reset. just bult this baby and cant wait to push it but its a chalnage to get to softmenu. has anyone seen this? know a solution?

I would RMA the board, sounds like a faulty bios chip or another problem with the mobo.Have you checked the battery?.....just a thought:confused:

yep, pulled the batery, cleard cmos, unpluged everything started back up, sometimes i get bios, sometimes i get nothing. the weird thing is this this happend to me once on a old epox board, so i unpluged everything and pluged it back in, all went well. unfortunatly not this time, i have already fell in love with raid (in game loading in alice is so much beter0 so i would realy hate to send it back and be stuck with ata66 again, any ideas?

Outside of clearing it and pulling the battery, if it will post and access a floppy drive, you might try reflashing the bios. If that does not do it, then probably RMA the board.

its an enermax 330w whisper. they have 2 fans, one of wich plugs into the mobo for fan and temp monitoring. unfortunatly my motherboard doesnt seem to like to monitor it so i plug it in to header3, wich is not monitored.
