I have a GeForce2 GTS 64 and a Samsung 900NF.. both of them support resolutions higher than 1600x1200, and I have both correct drivers installed. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Wow that is the strangest thing in the world. So you can't get that resolution on your desktop?

No, according to this specsheet, it is 2048x1536. The problem isnt the monitor, its the video card, I've heard many people not getting anything higher than 1600x1200 with even Sonys. The video card limits the monitor's capability.

Yes, the option to go to higher resolutions isn't available in the properties.. I ran a Voodoo5 5500 (and still have it) and it doesn't allow me either!

Hm... 3dfx actually has pretty good 2D, I dont know why. Why would you need more than 1600x1200 anyway? No games support anything higher. Maybe a Matrox will fix the problem, haha.

Hey

I didn't play on actually running at anything about 1600x1200, much less 1600x1200 itself. It just gets too small.. but it's nice to have the option there and just try to look at the words :)

BTW Good recommendation on this monitor.. it's got an extremely nice picture, and really vibrant colors.

I know, its good to have the options. But you know, video cards do have their limitations, check the V5 box/manual and see whats their maximum resolution supported. I know nVidia cards max out at 1600x1200, not sure about the V5 but my Velocity 100 also maxes out at 1600x1200.

Im glad you like the monitor, it's one of my favorites of all time.
