cant get access to hardware forum?

I registered in 2001, haven't actually logged in for a LONG time. Now when i log on it doesnt give me access to the hardware section, which is where i want to post.

What am i doing wrong?

That's odd unless it a pop up blocker or some such issue.

actually that link works. However, General Hardware does NOT appear in my "categories" to the left, in the navigation bar.

However, what im trying to get to is the LCD thread. When i am NOT logged in and go to it, then open a new tab log in, then go back to the non-logged in tab that displays the LCD thread, click on the link that brings me to the end of the thread a warning popup box opens and says:

"ERROR: Sorry, you do not have permissions to access the requested object."

Then it's blocked in your profile. Go back to my first link and unhighlight it.

Clearly, my mistake, thanks.

I thought it was black because that was the section heading and the ones you were susposed to "highlight" were below that.

I thought if a forum was blocked in your profile, then you wouldn't be able to access it from a link. You'd get an error or something.

Is what you get when a category is blocked.
