I recently assimilated my sister's computer. Her SETI name is Crickett (crickett104@hotmail.com). I want to join her to the TeAm, but I can't get her password. I went to the "user account" area and requested it be mailed to her, but it isn't being done. How can I get her password so I can join her to the TeAm????

:)When did you try and do this?

I had done the same thing and it took a day for the password to be sent to me.

Maggotry,

Check the "bulk mail" or "junk mail" folder on your sister's hotmail account. The Seti password emails are usually filtered into one of those folders.

I just checked the junk box. It's not there either. I'm assuming the password will be sent immediately. I requested my password just to make sure the service was working and I got my password e-mailed to me immediately. I started requesting it yesterday. I've requested it several times now.

You may have had a typo when entering the email when you registered her. Try signing her up again and see what happens.

Go to her hotmail and click options. Check the Junk Mail deletion option. Make sure it is set for delayed deletion. If it is not and hotmail thinks that seti emails are junk it will delete them immediately.

If that doesn't work, I am not sure what to try next.

THAT'S IT!!! THAT'S IT!!! Got her password and will join her to the team just in time for the race! Thanks a million! I don't use hotmail and didn't know about that auto delete thing. I never would have figured it out!

Would somebody write this down. We go over this time and again. It needs to be included with the setup instructions for new members. Glad we got SIS on board. Now all you hounddogs...............lay off. ;) :)
