Cant Freaking Sleep!!

So, I've been having a really hard time getting to sleep recently and i dont know why....the only reason I can think of is that I was at home all last week for thanksgiving, and was getting 12+ hours of sleep every night.....back here at college i need to get used to getting about 5-6 hours at night, followed by a nap later in the day....only problem is, it takes me 2 or so hours to even fall asleep. I try everything and still cannot get myself to just fall asleep. I of course blame it on my change in my sleep pattern, but I would think that my excessive tiredness would allow me to sleep! I dont know what to do, and i wish i could just fall to sleep 🙁

Try forcing yourself to stay awake for 24 hours straight then go to bed around 9 or 10pm. Then force yourself to get up after no more than 8 hours of sleep. Don't drive your car while you do this.

Go run 5 miles or more. You will fall asleep that night, I promise. Get some exercise.

we played basketball for nearly 2 hours last night...believe me, I was tired....just couldnt fall asleep

baseball bat to the head.. should knock you right out.

seriously tho, I usually have this problem when I'm stressed out.. my friend is much worse.. difficult to get to sleep, and a very light sleeper. He's tried melatonin.. which has sorta worked... but not exactly a good long term solution.

Drink three glasses of wine and drink it like you would drink water. And whatever time you sleep, FORCE YOURSELF to wake up at the same time every morning. This is help fix your sleep cycle inside five days.
