can't find boot.ini

i want to edit the boot.ini file for multiple OSs but i can't locate the file in Windows XP Pro. i've made sure that hidden folders are shown, but i'm not seeing it.
 
Uncheck "Hide protectected operating system files (Recommended)"

It'll show up then.

You can also,

Right click on My Computer
Select Properties
Choose the Advanced tab
Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings
Click on the Edit button
