Can't find AVIVO video converter

I installed the 8.12 beta over 8.11 (or possibly the FC2 hotfix driver, I can't remember anymore), and didn't see the AVIVO converter option. I dismissed it as some beta issue, and uninstalled the beta before installing the final release 8.12s.

Is there something I'm forgetting, or some sort of quick fix to try? I'll be out of town soon, and I don't feel like messing around with Driver Sweeper (planning on a fresh install once '09 comes around).
 
Or many other Windows versions apparently. I have XP 32-bit and it doesn't seem to offload the work to my GPU at all...

I think we kinda semi conclude in the Avivo thread that Avivo doesn't have much use after many years of existence. Gimmick.
