Can't find an iPad anywhere

I'm glad I reserved one at the apple store, it made cancelling easier.

I'm going to sit on my hands until next year when the next best thing will be out or at least an ipad with 4G.

Sitting on my hands worked for a few weeks. Broke down and bought a 32gb 3G version yesterday. It is amazing. I picked it up through best buy and used the no interest for 18 months promotion. $50 a month works for me.

I did not pay for the AT&T data plan; maybe if I go on a trip I might spring for it. I could have saved $130 but I wanted the ability if I needed it.

The accessories aren't really overpriced IMHO. I was looking at a dock for my new Zune HD and it was $90 bucks, for a fucking dock. Apple gets unfairly picked on for the prices of the accessories. From 1 day of looking at them everything for the Zune HD is as expensive if not more so.

I got tired of waiting for one too so I picked up a 32gb iPad+3G a few days ago. It's probably one of the most useless and expensive gadgets I've ever bought but honestly it's still pretty cool. One of main gripes was lack of flash but honestly I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would. Would it have been nice though? Hell yeah, but most of the sites I've wanted it for seem to work fairly well.

The best part is it curbed me from buying an iPhone 4 since my droid on verizon pulled a 3G signal literally in the boonies this weekend (3 bars too) while my iPad had no signal at all. In my area of course.

Everyone in my new dept at work has an iPhone and apple laptops/desktops...

It's actually a little exhausting, they're pretty clueless.

Yeah there's honestly no hope for me as far as gadgets go. I like too much stuff to be satisfied with just one platform.

i totally agree with you there. and good luck finding many accessories available at b&m stores, all they know is iAccessories at the ones ive visited. the one good thing about the dock for the zuneHD is the hdmi cable fits on the xbox360 as well, saving me a few bucks. i do have to say tho, its pretty cool having an easy way to connect it to pretty much everything. and the usb wall adapter will work for pretty much anything, mine gets used for my daughters phone, the zune, ipod and my phone charging. the good thing is, the dock charges the zuneHD while plugged into the usb port on my tv, so it frees up the wall charger for other uses.

i would love to see more stuff come out for the zuneHD, but the pricing has to drop for any of it to be worth buying.

We were talking about accessory prices and since it's marketed as a replacement for those and it's lacking fairly basic things, accessories suck cus you have to buy all that stuff for it just to do those basic things.
