When I try to repartition I get "cannot delete because logical drives exist" Then when I try to delete logical it says logical not defined. I am simply trying to delete all partitions and reformat. I have never run into this before, can someone help?

use another program to partition yoru drive--like a linux distribution parititioning program--that worked for me, or maybe partition magic

That's happened to me several times on a 30 gig maxtor. Pop in the mfgr's diskette and repartition with that. Works everytime!
