When I try to repartition I get "cannot delete because logical drives exist" Then when I try to delete logical it says logical not defined. I am simply trying to delete all partitions and reformat. I have never run into this before, can someone help?

Use Ranish for partitioning... it's simple but very powerful. Just uncompress it and put it on your boot disk.

That's happened to me several times on a 30 gig maxtor. Pop in the mfgr's diskette and repartition with that. Works everytime!
