Can't download anything, quicktime problem -- help

Hi
Anytime I try to download anything, quicktime opens up, becomes a broken link, and says "Quicktime is missing files that cannot be downloaded from the server." Tried to redownload QT, didn't help.
Any ideas??

Try re installing IExplorer, or using Opera ( www.opera.com ) and see if they "take up" the links in preference to Quicktime after they have been reinstalled/setup
