Can't Disable "Open With" box

Every time I open up a vid file on my system, it pops up with the "Open with..." dialog box. Even when I select the proper program and check the "Always use the selected program..." box, it still pops up every time I open up a media file; I have to keep selecting the same prog over and over again and it's getting annoying. Anyone know why this is happening? BTW, i'm opening my vid files with Media Player Classic.

Maybe it is related with file types associations? Check up if your video files are associated with Windows Media Player. Open WMP - menu Tools - Options - file types. Look through the ticks there.
