can't delete youtube history on mobile

running Android JB but had same issue in ICS. from youtube, i do Settings>Search > clear search history. i also have 'never remember history' selected. nothing works. any other suggestions?

and no, nothing questionable in history, just want to clear it 😉
 
Clearing the search history works for me, but if there's still something lingering, you can nuke everything by clearing YouTube's stored data within Android's app manager.

tried that. and an app called History Eraser, no luck.
 
ok, also logged into youtube from browser and deleted watch history. went back to mobile and it was still there.

i noticed that there is a small blue triangle on the bottom right of each video in history. if i click that, i have the option to remove video.
 
Maybe is the flash storage that needs deleting.

Not sure how it works on android, but in windows you have to visit a page in he adobe website to delete the flash cache.
