Can't delete account in Outlook Express 6.

I'm running XP Home, logged in as admin, but can't get rid of an account
that I don't use anymore in OE 6. It won't allow me to do it.
Any suggestions?

No error message, I simply choose the mail account, click on remove, it asks me if I am sure, I click yes, and when I go back in after shutting down outlook express, it is there again.
