Cell phone plan, what do I do? I only use an average of 100 minutes a month. I want cingular because their service coverage is better where i live. I have verizon now.

Plan 1:
Plan 1
No contract.
400 minutes per month for $30 per month.
Cell phone service reseller, uses Cingular's towers.
Night and weekend minutes are all rolled into the 400 minutes a month.
No rollover.
Motorola V551 phone for $125.

Plan 2:
Plan 2
2 year contract
450 minutes per month for $39.99 per month
Deal with Cingular directly.
5000 night and weekend minutes.
Rollover
Not sure what phone I want, but I would be able to have a much wider choice of phones.

Or another plan i haven't found yet? tell what it is if you choose this option.

yeah, i think thats where i'm leaning towards already. this has been bugging me for like the past 4 days and i just can't decide. why don't cell phone companies have a plan for less money and minutes? like 250 minuts for $20? i guess its so they can rip off people like myself...

i went with the consumer cellular plan. got the phone yesterday and charged it last night.
i get decent reception at home but very little to know reception most of the way to work.

guess i'm gonna stay with verizon unless they can get me better signal.

with verizon, if you called *228 and then selected option 2, it would update your phone with programming or something that supposedly allowed you to get better signal or something. does cingular/at&t have anything like that?

I only use about 100 anytime minutes a month on my plan but i notice i make most of my phone calls after work and on the weekends.. so nights and weekends is where i would invest.

guys, i already went with plan 1.
my problem now is poor signal with the new plan.
i was just wondering if anyone knew if cingular/at&t had a special number ot dial to get more programming for your phone. if not, i'm just gonna stick with with verizon since i get better signal with them (except at my house)
