Not really an iphone user, so maybe this is something super basic - but I cant seem to figure this out.

I recorded 3 videos on my iphone 7. All in 1080/60fps. My 2 smaller videos show up when plugged into a PC, and im able to copy them over.

The 40 minute video shows up as a .aae file, and is only 761bytes. wtf?

I have a feeling apple is doing some silly shit to enable users to make videos longer than should be possible at 1080/60, but now for whatever reason, I cant just copy the damn file over to my pc. I even tried uploading to google photos, but that didnt work either.

Im guessing Im going to have to install itunes to get this file? This is poppycock.

Searching for "aae file" in google will tell you that that is companion file that keeps edits done to a file on the phone so that you wont "damage" the original file,so it's not your video.

Do you have MacBook Pro? I think there is an app I forgot what is it called (i don't have my MacBook Pro with me right now) this app will allow you to transfer to your MacBook from iPhone.

If you are using Windows desktop then you can find iPhone camera folder under Windows Explorer app? (Boy I haven't used Windows OS for ages!)
