This is a dvd I made not retail movie type dvd. It only has a menu and two files on it but I cannot get DVD Shrink or NEro to do it. DVDShrink frezes @ 61%. Nero gave an error log.
Any other program to try?
Again, it doesn't have any type of copy protection because I made it.

DVD Decrypter should handle it. If it can't you either have a bum disc, bad drive or the DVD covertly installed a copy protection driver on your system.

i made the dvd from scratch so no copy protection. It plays fine on my pc and set top dvd player so it can't be a bad disc or drive.

DVD decrypter 3.5.4.0ees my dvd drive but I get no option to copy the disc????

Still having problems with this. I tried Nero, DVDShrink, DVD Decryter and CloneDVD. Clone DVD gives this error.
"Scheduler 0 N:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_02_2.VOB:23:read error pictureReader"

I made the DVD using Sonic MyDVD and it takes forever to make a new one from scratch.

If there's no copy protection (as with home-made DVD's), you can just drag and drop the files in Explorer. Sounds like something is wrong with the disc. Do you have the original files on your HD?

Yes, it is a dvd I made from two old VCR tapes. The files are on my pc and I used SonicDVD to make a dvd with them. I can make as many dvd's as I want by using Sonic but ideally I would like to be able to just copy the dvd so I can remove the files from my pc. I am doing this for someone else so I really don't want to keep the files on my pc forever. And I agree it sounds like the disc is bad but it plays fine in the dvd player and on my pc??????

Have you tried creating the disc with another authoring program? DVDAuthor is a good program (if the files are already DVD compliant).

Does every DVD you burn (with these files and Sonic )come out like this?

I haven't burned alot of dvd's like this before so I'm not sure about being "compliant" but one of the videos is an .avi and the other is .wmv so I think that's why it takes sonic so long to encode them into mpeg's maybe.
And this is the first time ever using sonic, never burned these two files on anything else.
