Windows Server 2003 on Dell PowerEdge. Windows 95 client. TCPIP. Server can connect to client shares and client can see server, but cannot connect to shares - gives "Unknown Error 31" message. Thought I'd been thorough about permissions, but can't get it to work. Checked NET HELP 31, but minimal info. MSKB not much help either. Thoughts?

Thank you. I have resolved connecting to the server with Win95, with and without a password, but my app still won't work. I think it requires NETBIOS Interface Service (that's what it's called in NT4 and app quits working when disabled) and I can't find such beast in Win2003. Thoughts?

Yeah, that's still there, but it was in NT4 as well. Another product I used to work with specifically required true NetBIOS and LANA numbers - I think that may be the case here. I'm hoping this program's upgrade has done away with that requirement.
