Hello!

I just purchased an Intel 10/100 PCCard adapter, to install in my old Epson 486DX2-50 notebook. Installation went well, working fine. Notebook is running Win95 OSR2, TCP/IP installed.
I use a proxey server w/a DHCP server. The card sees the network, and can read to/from the other machines on the network.

Here's the problem:
I can't surf the web. I can ping IP's and URLs, so it's not a DNS problem. When I put in a web address or an IP, in either IE5.0 or Nutscrape, it connects to the server, and that's it.

Any special steps I need to take w/Win95 OSR2? Any tips?

I wanna nef from the comfort of my living room. :p

Tried this troubleshooting document from the Sygate support website?

It's getting it's IP and what not correctly, as I can ping (In a DOS box) both IP addresses and names, so the DNS services are working too. I just can't get the browser(s) to work. :(

THanks anyway..

Yeah, you said that before, but I was thinking of this first part in the doc:

Make sure that your browser application or Internet options control panel is not configured to use a proxy server for your Internet connection. If no proxy is specified in your settings, first make sure the Internet browser is working on the Sygate server computer
