Hey all, stumped here.
We bought our daughter a macbook for her birthday. And I cannot get it to connect to the net via wireless router.
I am running Tomato firmware with MAC address filtering. I am using the filter for the purpose of turning off wireless so that I can go sleep knowing they are not up on the net all night.
I have my Android phone connected, my wife's blackberry and laptop, my sons xbox, my PS3, my daughter's old laptop. Everything works except this new Macbook.
The only thing i can see as odd, the mac address on the mac includes small case letters in it's mac address. Of course tomato changes these to CAPS once entered and saved. But this is normal for all MAC address.
I even added my brothers iTouch some time ago, and it connects.
So i'm at the point where I am gonna have to try without mac address filter. But that gives open access all night. Everything i have ever tried to connect just works up until this Macbook.
I like the feature of Tomato and it's filtering of on/off times. Hate to give it up just to connect this macbook.
Apple is very alien to me, windows and linux seem to be more forgiving and helpful. I enter network key, and it doesn't accept, click on help, it tells me there is no help because it's not on-line :/
