I right click my computer and go to properties. Then i go to Computer name and click change. That brings me to a window with the computer name and what domain and workgroup im a member of. I cant change the Domain or Workgroup for some reason. It could possibly be a problem with my router because my router isnt working correctly and not letting me see the other computers on my network, but shouldnt i still be able to change the Domain and Workgroup?

Help me

When you say you cant change it, are you unable to click on the button to change it, or after you click it does it give you an error?

DO you have local admin rights?

Is client for Microsoft networks installed and bound to your network card?

Go to start, control panel, network connections. Right click on your local area connection and go to properties. Make sure Client for Microsoft Networks is listed there, and has a check next to it.
