i finally got my mandrake 9.1 / Windows XP dual boot working on my laptop. However, when in linux, they keyboard seems overly sensitive. If i do anything but barely tap the keys, they repeat themselves. For instance if i tried to type "test" i'd end up with "tttesst" or something similar. I have tried kdbrate -r 20 -d 250 and xset r rate 250 20 (i have tried numerous settings, the ones i provide are just examples) and nothing seems to fix the problem, it just changes the repeat rate. Yes, i have tried google, but it only provided me with the two commands i tried before.

Is there any way i can resolve this situation?
Thanks in advance for any assistance rendered.

google around for sticky keys and bounce something or another settings. I remember messing with it at one point, and it worked out well. Only did it once though, and it was a while back.
