I can't not seem to get my wife's comp to boot to win2k I can get into safe mode but that's it inless I put a disk in the zip drive. I don't have it mounted as a fixed drive so I don't know what the hell is going on:| I cleared my startup folder of all things zip related and shut the system down after ejecting the disk from the drive but still I can't boot with out a disk in the drive.

Sys Spec:
PIII 700
Win2k sp2
P3V4X bios 1005 via 4n1 4.37
512 micron pc133 ram

My boot order is Floppy,cd,HDD and yes I can boot without it connected but I use it alot as part of my sneakernet (haven't gotten around to running cat5 to wifes pc) so I just like to keep it connected. I'm going to uninstalled the latest drivers from iomega and use the genric drivers provided my M$

try booting into safe mode then uninstalling/reinstalling all zip related stuff (drivers, and the iomega ware stuff) using the latest drivers from iomega.com

I am using the latest drivers from iomega and this is the problem they gave me so they are outta here and back to the native drivers for me 🙂
