Can't BOOT anything!!! Help!!

Hmm. Unplug the hard drive and the floppy drive so the optical drive is the only one left. Put your Windows CD into it and restart the system and see if it will offer you that boot-from-CD prompt when the CD-ROM drive is the only thing it's got to work with. If it does not, try the CD-ROM drive's cable on the other of the mobo's IDE fittings and see if that works.
 
i got the floppy to work, and loaded the HDD utility from the seagate website, ill keep you informed thx for the lp btw MUCH, i guess ill work out the dvdrom later 🙁
 
Ok i got the HDD partitioned etc... it STILL said bios not installed etc... and when it goes to boot the cdrom now it says file NTDLR is missint control+alt+delete to reboot, how do i put this file on my computer to run the cdrom?!?!
 
ok time for bed lol ill finish this tomarrow after work, try and post as much info as you have on this file that im missing! thanks again for the help.
 
The file's not really missing, it's just not looking in the right place for it 😉 Anyway, good night for now 🙂
