Ok normally when I change the bios settings such as ram speeds or fsb speeds the pc will usually not boot right when it first restarts. Then I have to power down, wait a few secs and then turn it back on. After that it starts fine with the new settings. This time though it won't boot anymore no matter what. It just sits there at a black screen and I can't do anything. I even tried clearing the cmos but it still won't boot. Maybe I'm not clearing the cmos correctly? What I did was turn off the pc and unplug it. Then I removed the battery, set the jumper to clear cmos and then moved the jumper back to it's orriginal spot, then I put the battery back in and it still doesn't boot. What the hell is going on? Is the battery dead or something? Here's my specs:
A7N8X Deluxe - Nforce 2 Ultra 400
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
768MB PC2100 Ram
Ati Radeon 8500 128MB
Please help. I had to post this on my cousin's pc.
