I was babysitting my nephew the other day, and were playing monopoly. Me, him, and a chick friend of mine. Anyways. My friend gets tired of the game and she goes to lay down elsewhere, as she's walking out the room my 9 yr old nephew says " B1tches aint nothin but hoes and tricks".
I couldnt believe it, i asked him where he learned it from, some friend of his, etc. Told his parents too.

You should have asked him if he knew waht it meant.
I once asked my family and extended family at a Christmas dinner to say RENOB backwards. We had a family friend over who is also devoutly religious.
I had no idea what it meant at the time, I just knew that they were telling it as a joke on the elementary schoolbus and everyone was laughing. The devout guy ending up turning a beet red and the rest of the family was horrified. My cousin was the only one laughing and he was not laughing at the joke.![]()
It is just a funny memory now.
**EDIT**
Happy? I took off the "K"

Get used to it.
This is what our society has come to. Until their old enough to realize what good music is, and establish their own opinion on music - they're going to be listening to hip hop.
Its all this latest generation listens to. We should be worried

You people are all so serious. If my niece said something like that, I'd bust out laughing. In fact, I have. Of course that encourages them.

music has been and always will be a subjective experience with each individual perceiving it in their own way.

give him a shank and he can stab for a day. Teach him how to fashion a shank from a tooth brush and he can stab for life.

But the music that youth listens to has never been so violent or vulgar. Sure there was goth and punk and grunge rock in the 90's, but at least IMO, none of that was near as influencial with near as big an audience.
Its obvius to me you don't have kids, or know any kids in that influencial age range because they all listen to rap or hip hop type music...And if you do have kids your not paying attention to what they listen to.
I think its a real issue, and I don't really care if people agree or not. I was just giving my opinion on what this guys nephew said - and how often I hear the same sort of comments from kids that age
