Cant Alt-tab outta 3d games... whats up with that?

This has been happening for a while, but I decided to go ahead and solve it now on my Fusion's last days in this system (yep, upgradin to a radeon 32ddr). Anyways, I am running a Diamond Monster Fusion PCI in this rig. Whenever I try to alt-tab out of and 3d game (and some 2d games) the game either crashes or the video gets messed up really bad. I have am currently using Chris's 1.3 Banshee Drivers. This happened to me on the 3dx drivers and Maverick's drivers. This problem is not really not too annoying cause I rarely Alt-tab out of stuff (really on diablo 2, but that works fine), but it needs to be fixed.

I think you're out of luck. 3dfx stopped supporting chipsets earlier than the Voodoo 3 quite a while ago. And now with them out of business, it's pretty much impossible to think that those boards will ever get updated drivers.

The only thing I can suggest is to set your 2D desktop to 16 bit colour before you run the game. That might help.
