For a pretty long time, I've had this really annoying problem on my monitor (dell ultrascan p1110). The black isn't really black. It has a reddish tint to it and it's very annoying. I've tried EVERYTHING including monitordirect.com's toolkit, downloading new drivers, consulting the manual, etc. I cannot fix this. I'm starting the way the tube displays red hues is messed up. Honestly, I can't remember if it was like this when I first bought it (I don't think it was).

Anyway, I just want to try one other thing: adjusting the gamma levels. The only problem is I can't. I have a ti4200 128 mb. I downloaded the new detonator drivers and nothing about gamma controls can be found under properties. Am I missing something? Can I install some app to give me this option? Any help would be appreciated.

go to display, settings, advanced, geforce 4, nview display mode, device settings, color correction. Otherwise just go to nview and color correction should be somewhere in there.
