Can't add new features to Office XP

Im trying to install some new features on Office XP, mainly document scanning. When it tries to install, i get an error saying that it can't fine the file E:\Office1.CAb. E:\ is the right drive for the file, and when I looked on the cd, the file was there. But when i searched for the file, it did not show up, and sugestions?

This is a known issue. You can search the web and read about it. The only fix I have read about is to rip the CD onto your HD and install from there.
