Can't activate windows

I have one day to activate windows and when i try to it says that local scripting is disabled, and to try again when scripting is enabled. I tried turning off both my firewall and my anti-virus but it still won't go through. Anyone know how to fix this? I think i am gonna get locked out of my computer in about 7 hours

Screw that. I'm going to use the same excuse I've used for years, "I updgraded my motherboard and CPU and Windows won't let me activate my code." Then the Indian dude on the other end gives me a code and voila!

I highly doubt that. Do you realize how much money Microsoft saves in payroll with electronic activation? They would have to increase their activation operators (whatever MS call's them) by a thousand fold! :Q

I agree with Stevty2889...you can call on the phone and have it directly activated.

Intended to curtail the stealing and selling of certificates of authenticity, the new security measure will start at the end of this month. At first, it will be limited to the Windows XP software preinstalled on systems shipped by the top 20 PC sellers.
