Can't activate DMA on my Liteon. Ideas?

Hi,

I just replaced my TDK 24/10/40 with a new Liteon 48x24x40, and I installed it and set it to DMA if available, and it still defaults to PIO. I'm running Windows XP Pro, and the drive is on the onboard ide controller (AMD760.) Having this fast of a drive without DMA is actually slower than the old one, and it's very irritating. Any ideas?

Thanks guy, that worked like a charm.

I should have known, WinXP and Win2k have both given me greif about randomly switching my optical drives back to PIO mode, and the only way to resolve it was to swap channels or master/slave settings. Thanks again guys.
