Today I have a big trouble. After I updated my xp from sp1 to sp2, the pc cant access xp and keep to restart. I wanna save some data from desktop before format or retore xp with ghost. But there is two big trouble:
1. those data is at admin account with password.
2. it cant access safe mode.
I m thinking there is 2 ways to slove it but I dont know how
1. use a another working xp to access windows and make the non working
xp as data drive. Then get those data. But where is the location? Is it
possible to see the data w password protection?
2. repair the xp with a bootable xp cd. but how? If i reinstall the xp
in the same location. will those old data be deleted?
