Can't access newsgroup with outlook express 6..

i always get an error:

Configuration:
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0e

for any server i try to access. This just started happening recently. Im running windows xp 2600 and using a netgear router. I thought it might be that i had to fwd port 119 to my computer but that didnt work (i never had to in the first place to access the newsgroup before). Can anyone help me out?
