Can't access newegg.com

HI All,
I am trying to order more stuff from newegg but both IE and FF state the sit eis unavailable (but my brother's computer can access it just fine). I turned my firewall off and tried rebooting and still no luck. Any idea why just one webpage won't load?

Any advice appreciated. I need to order some new stuff 🙂

Thanks,
Joe

Works fine on my end too. Try flushing your local DNS cache:

Start | Run
"ipconfig /flushdns"
OK
Try to access newegg.com again.

I loaded a program called treewalk (updates dns) and it works. Strange the dns flush didn't work.........

Thanks!

It woudn't hurt to doublecheck the content of your HOSTS file on your PC, either.

And check the DNS settings. Make SURE it's pointing to your ISP's DNS server, and not some DNS server in Russia. I've seen this happen after a spyware infection. Not pretty and easy to miss.

Sounds good. How do I do that? 🙂
